GULF BEACHES ROTARY TENNIS & GOLF CHALLENGE

The Gulf Beaches Rotary Club and the City of Treasure Island are again joining forces to hold the 18th Annual Rotary Tennis and Golf Challenge on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Treasure Bay Golf and Tennis, 10315 Paradise Boulevard. The Tennis Challenge will be a Men’s and Women’s Doubles Round Robin for players of all playing levels and abilities starting at 9:00am. The Golf Scramble will be for both men and women with a shotgun start at 9:30am.

The proceeds of the event will benefit the Treasure Island Recreation Department children’s programs; Treasure Bay tennis and golf programs for juniors and the Gulf Beaches Rotary Foundation. Playing times will be from 9:00am-12:00 noon, and the cost is $25.00 per player, which includes play, goodie bag, prizes and raffle. The event will also be accompanied by a silent auction that includes tennis racquets, hotel and restaurant packages and much more. The tournament and auction are open to the public and you need not be a player to bid on the silent auction items. Food and beverage concessions will be available throughout the event.

Come challenge the St. Petersburg College Women’s Tennis Team on court on Friday, March 3, 2017 for a donation to the SPC Foundation. In addition, the Silent Auction Preview and Draw Party will be held at Treasure Bay at 6:00pm with a reception and silent auction preview. At 7:00pm, a catered dinner by Caprese Catering will be offered for $25.00 per person. Reservations for the buffet must be made in advance by calling Treasure Bay or the Treasure Island Recreation Department.

Court and hole sponsorships are available for a minimal fee.
