Halloween Hustle 5k

A GHOULISH GOOD TIME FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Join us for our Annual Halloween Hustle 5K Fun Run & Kids Dash on Saturday, October 29, 2022, followed by the MONSTER BASH After Party at “Waves at the Bilmar Beach Resort”, Treasure Island.

This is the only run of its kind on the hard-packed sand of beautiful Treasure Island. The race will begin and end on the beach behind the Bilmar Beach Resort. Since it’s Halloween costumes are encouraged for all runners! Prizes for top three races and best costumes for men, women, and kids. Proceeds will benefit the Pinellas Beaches Chamber of Commerce and the Beaches Environmental Action Committee.

Beaches Environmental Committee: The Beaches Environmental Committee is engages in the protection of Florida’s Gulf Beaches, Waterways and neighboring beach business community through advocacy, engagement and education.

As one of the only local environmental organizations recognized by the Federal Election Commission, Beaches Environmental Committee addresses a wide range of environmental threats and provides and essential voice on behalf of Tampa Bay’s priceless natural resources. We accomplish our work by bringing people, science and policy together to protect vital ecosystems, defend critical legislation, enforce accountability of our leaders and legislators, and rally our neighbors to become stewards of the community.

We have a wide range of programs including Sea Turtle and Sea Bird preservation, red tide mitigation, beachclean up programs. Funding including but not limited to; Seaside Seabird Sanctuary, Treasure Island Adopt A Beach, Trash Pirates of Madeira Beach and Tampa Bay Waterkeeper

REFUND POLICY

Strict policy of no refunds. All purchases and sales are 100% final, no exceptions.

WAIVER

(Must be Signed) Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement

I know that participating in a beach race is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death.

I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, am in good health, and am properly trained.

I agree to abide by any race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, conditions of the beach and/or beach.

I also understand that in the event that this race has been cancelled for any reason beyond the control of race management that my entry fee will not be refunded. All such risks being known and appreciated by me.

I understand that bicycles, other forms of transportation and animals are not allowed in the race. I will abide by this guideline.

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf (anyone listed on registration form), waive and release the organizers, The Pinellas Beaches Chamber of Commerce, all event sponsors, Waves at the Bilmar, TI, The Bilmar Beach Resort and The City of Treasure Island and all representatives and successors from all claims of liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
