Follow social media to see where the Beach Snoballs food truck will serve famous shaved ice
TREASURE ISLAND, Oct. 20, 2015
Mother-daughter owned, Beach Snoballs will continue to serve its wildly popular shaved ice to the masses via its food truck, The SnoMobile, after getting notice that the current landlord of the Treasure Island walk-up site will take the property in a new direction this fall.
After becoming fans of the shaved ice treat while vacationing, Amy Milko and her daughter, September Howat, partnered with family to buy Beach Snoballs in the spring of 2011 while both were living out of state. September moved to St. Petersburg to operate the business and Amy followed soon after to help as customers lined up for snoballs to beat the Florida heat.
Following nearly 5 years of growth and success on Treasure Island, they want to thank the community and assure loyal fans that service will continue through their company food truck. The SnoMobile is available for birthday parties, festivals, weddings, corporate events, and fundraisers. When the truck isn’t at a private event, you can find it weekends at the Wagon Wheel Flea Market. It will be featured at the World’s Largest Food Truck Rally on October 31 and the St. Jude Fall Festival in November. Contact Beach Snoballs with additional opportunities. Amy and September are also looking for a new property and plan to open a storefront location in the coming months. For now, find The SnoMobile through the website www.beachsnoballs.com and follow Beach Snoballs on social media. Beach Snoballs will show customer appreciation this weekend with $1 Off Day (10/24) and Pay What You Want Day (10/25). The last day of service at the Treasure Island store will be Tuesday, October 27th, 2015.
