One of the most important benefits of membership in the Treasure Island & Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce is our ability to speak for our members in a variety of ways.
First is through our website’s Member Directory, where we present a quick look at your business, either garnering information from your company website, or from your membership application.
Our Events Calendar is where you can list special events, like Open Houses and Ribbon cuttings, anniversary milestones, holiday promotions, annual sales, and community activities that you support. A good example is the John’s Pass Seafood and Music Festival, or the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Paradise Lutheran Church, or the St. Stephanos Greek Orthodox Church Super Greek Fest.
We also put our members’ names “out there” via our Facebook Page, Facebook Group, and LinkedIn Page. Here, we try to find YOUR posts and share them, as well as create our own posts about our members. Please, click on the links to each one and LIKE, JOIN, or FOLLOW us!
Our Chamber organizes several events of its own throughout the year, from our Annual Installation Gala, to our annual Health Fair and Trade Show, our seasonal Friday Morning Market, which has been going strong for a decade and just finished another successful season, our Casino Night Fundraiser, and our annual Golf Tournament.
These provide sponsorship or display opportunities that help your company name have “legs.” These events draw visitors from throughout the Tampa Bay area, people who are here year around and who spend their dollars in our communities. Some of these events benefit not only our Chamber, but also charitable organizations and local youth programs.
We invite the whole community to “mix ‘n’ mingle” with our members and Board at our monthly After Hours Mixers, and we hold these at a different location every month. Why? To introduce our people to our members in a fun, social setting.
We also write about our members right here. Our weekly blog takes a behind-the-scenes look at our members, giving a company history or personal profile about the people who brought their dreams here, and built our business community in the process.
If your business is featured here, we’ll promote the write-up on Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as in our weekly WAVES newsletter, sent to over 3,000 contacts interested in our beaches.
