Red Tide Spared Pinellas: August 16

For the most part, red tide spared Pinellas beaches during the recent outbreak that has so beleaguered our neighbors south of the Sunshine Skyway.

Airborne toxins did reach up to Fort DeSoto and St. Pete Beach, but the impact was relatively minor.
