Madeira Beach, FL—Have fun and meet new people! The John’s Pass Seafood Festival, voted #1 by Visit St. Pete Clearwater, is the premier and longest running seafood festival in Pinellas County. The success of this annual event, now in its 35th year, is thanks to more than 1,000 volunteer hours contributed by the community each year.
Hosted by The John’s Pass Village Association, the weekend-long festival donates a portion of its proceeds to benefit Pinellas County schools and other local charities.
Please consider sharing your experience, skills and interests with your community. Flexible hours are available throughout the weekend of October 27-30. Each volunteer who works 4 hours will receive $15 worth of food and beverage tickets, as well as a free T-shirt! As an added bonus, your commitment to volunteering will help support more than one good cause.
If you have a few hours to spare, need community service hours, or just want to have fun, there are several ways to volunteer: online at www.chrisNsteve.com (click on the sign up link under the John’s Pass Seafood Festival logo); by phone with volunteer coordinator Mallory Marsico at (727) 386-2702; or via email to SIKvolunteers@gmail.com.
Thanks in advance for donating your time to your community!
