Fall is the perfect season to come to the beach. We are blessed with so many fun things to do in Treasure Island and Madeira Beach Florida this Fall. Things large and small. You will have had better than 2 weeks to recover from your Oktoberfest revelries by the time the 37th Johns Pass Seafood Fest gets into full swing. Imagine delicious seafood dishes everywhere you turn. Johns Pass at Madeira Beach is the the undisputed seafood (Grouper in particular) capital on Florida’s west coast and our restaurants know exactly what to do with the catch. Come. Learn for yourself what locals already know…. Johns Pass has the best locally caught and prepared seafood anywhere!
And, there’s more. While you eat, enjoy an array of live music playing all festival long beginning the evening of the 25th. Peruse beach clothing, jewelry, accessories, trinkets, gifts, and arts and crafts at the over 50 vendors who will be onsite. Battle of The Pass Fishing Tournament – This is a Spanish Mackerel and inshore slam fishing tournament held right at the festival. Don’t fish yourself? No problem. The weigh-in (always a fun time) is open to all festival goers.
Seafood Fest 5K Run – Come out Saturday morning and take to the sand enjoying our famous, breath-taking views in the Seafood Fest 5k run
Flavors of the Gulf – A ticketed event where 16 of the best local eateries and 20 craft brewers work to keep your taste buds on overload.
World’s Largest Bloody Mary Toast – Come and get a FREE Bloody Mary (or Virgin Mary) and toast with everyone and help Johns Pass Seafood Festival regain the world record for the world’s largest Bloody Mary toast.

The Largest – Richest – Most Exciting Kingfish Tournament In The U.S.

It’s good to be the KING! Specially, if the title is earned at the King of the Beach. This is the “mack daddy” of fishing tournaments. The tournament where you #FISHBIGMONEY
For 25 years Old Salt Fishing Foundation has put on the KING. 700 fishing teams make a beeline to sunny Madeira Beach every year to compete in the King of the Beach. With over $225,000 in overall prize money, this is the fishing tournament of fishing tournaments. Heck, the 1st place winner will earn at least $60,000 and up to as much as $105,000. That’s a good day fishing and the KING is one of the most fun things to do in Treasure Island and Madeira Beach.
The event is a 3 day waterfront festival with food, drink, marine art, fishing gear & apparel and much more. Great for the entire family

Kids Fishing Slam – On Friday November 8th, Old Salt will host 500 local youth for the Kids Fishing Slam. The kids fish for free and everyone leaves a winner thanks to wonderful sponsors like 13Fishing.
